17 November 2020, 10:00 - 13:00

Join us on World Prematurity Day and Baby Week for the launch of the MatNeo Patient Safety Network: stabilisation and optimisation of the pre-term infant.

This work contributes to two national ambitions:

  • to reduce the rates of maternal and neonatal deaths, stillbirths and brain injuries that occur during or soon after birth by 50% by 2025.
  • to reduce the national rate of preterm births from 8% to 6%.

This event will provide the opportunity to understand some of the key contributory factors to reducing these rates.

As part of the mini-collaborative there will be opportunities for additional members of your team to learn more about Quality Improvement and work with North West Coast colleagues to address some of the key barriers to support women and families.
