Join us for our first North West Coast collaborative event to discuss Reducing Restrictive Practice.
This event will provide a platform to establish a supportive network for North West Coast Mental Health Trusts, designed to:-
- Introduce the National Mental Health Safety Improvement Programme
- Introduce Trusts to the NWC MHSIP project team
- Explore a Systematic Improvement Approach (using a co-delivery model by AQuA and the Innovation Agency Coaching Academy)
- Explore key enablers for improving safety
- Provide an opportunity to share Reducing Restrictive Practice good practice to colleagues across NWC
- Facilitate discussions into the national and local measures for Reducing Restrictive Practice
- Review the next steps for the next 12 months
- Explore the support that is on offer
The event is aimed at those who work within the North West Coast and are actively involved in Reducing Restrictive Practice on mental health wards. In particular we would welcome representation from:-
- Staff members from wards participating in the National MH SIP
- Mental Health Nurses
- Mental Health Clinical Leads
- Patient Safety Specialists
- Mental Health Quality Improvement Leads
