All three winners in the NHS categories within the 2021 Excellence in Supply awards have now received national awards recognising their work during the pandemic.
Fresh from their success at the NHS in the North Excellence in Supply awards, three winners have now received national recognition for their work.
The Health Care Supply Association (HCSA) presented awards as part of the association’s annual conference held this year in Harrogate. The HCSA was formed in 1960 to reflect the interests of supply and procurement staff.
Simon Bennett, business improvement engineer with the NHS Lancashire Procurement Cluster, received the national NHS Procurement Outstanding Contribution Award while Hayley Lockwood of West Yorkshire and Harrogate Health and Care Partnership won the national NHS Champion in Support of Procurement Award.
Completing the hat-trick of success Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust won the national NHS Procurement Transformation Award.
